Question: whats the worst thing that could happen to the air

Our air quality isn’t as poor as in some more developing countries which I’m grateful for as it is terrible for our health and longevity of life. But the worst thing that could happen to our air in the UK is for the legal levels that are currently set to ensure that we have as clean air as possible for them to be removed post-Brexit. This is because our air quality levels were based on EU limit values so I’m concerned that our strict levels might be watered down when we leave the EU. If this happened our government wouldn’t try so hard to improve our air and things could just get worse instead of better.
