      A PhD is the highest qualification that you can get in education. Its a doctor of philosophy not to be confused with a medical doctor or you could get into some bother if someone needed medical attention!! So you do your GCSEs, A-levels then if you go onto University you would do your 3 year undergraduate degree (BSc) then maybe a Masters (MSc) then after four years a PhD!
