      Good question! Thats definitely part of my challenge here…using second hand parts I reckon I can just about squeak it out of the £500 prize fund. In terms of outline costs the components are roughly: projector £125, Kinect camera £50, PC to run it £325 (the majority of which is a graphics card) and then actual wooden box structure and sand (I have a workshop of bits I will use to make this up!).

      I also intend to appeal to some geeky friends of mine for any spares they have lying around to make it all stack up!
