I am sure there are lots of different opinions on this but I think science is something that you can conduct an experiment on or something that you can observe and watch and see how it changes. So you can do experiments in chemistry with lots of chemicals or you can do experiments with people and see how they respond to things, that’s psychology you can observe how a river changes direction thats geography and you can measure peoples heart rates as they exercise in biology! Just some few examples!

This is a very good question! People learn about science in school and they also see science and scientists on TV. You see people in labcoats and amazing inventions, which look really cool, but actually this is not what science is.

Science is a way to learn about how things work. In science you first guess and then you make an experiment to test your guess. If many experiments show your guess is not wrong then it becomes scientific knowledge.

For example you might guess that apples fall down from trees. You could test this guess by shaking many trees, and seeing that the apples never go up into the sky, instead they fall down. Because you had done many experiments your guess that apples fall becomes science.
