There are so many types of bees, some of them are solitary (unlike social bees), some do produce small amount of honey but don’t sting, some don’t produce honey at all but can sting and pollinate plants. So, honey bees differ from other bees in anatomy, physiology, behaviour, habitat (some are found in tropical climate, others survive in warm areas), and morphology (external body shape). According to all these features they are classified into different families, then into different genra, and then different species. Honey bees are insects social insects that produce large amounts of honey and they sting. There are different subspecies called races of honey bees that have some slight variations according their origin, morphology and aggressiveness.
