      I think because there was always a question posed which has a solution, but needs you apply a principle to get to the answer. I really enjoyed being able to use calculations to predict whether or not something would happen… for example a block on an inclined plane with a certain mass and surface friction… at what angle would the block’s mass overcome friction and move… that sort of thing always fascinated me.
