• Question: Which famous scientist do you think you are most like?

      Good question! There aren’t really that many “famous” geologists or geophysicists… Charles Lyell played an important part in developing James Hutton’s work and geology as a science…but they were both Scottish! Its difficult to think about who I am most like… I think Newton was pretty odd… I like trying to talk to people about science in everyday applications – maybe I’ll say Brian Cox!

      I would say David Attenborough because i love to think about past climates and past environments and care about the future of the planet

      I’ll say Bill Nye, because I enjoy science (Nye is actually an astronomer–he was responsible for adding a sundial to one of the Mars rovers!), but I also enjoy communicating science.

      I would to be like Niels Degrasse Tyson. He is very smart, funny and good at explaining things.
