Yes, though I was lucky and had a natural aptitude for it which helps as I think you generally enjoy things that you are good at. I do think it is interesting to understand the world that surrounds us and why things are the way they are. A natural curiosity helps!

Oh but please note that I was definitely not good at every aspect of science. Ironically at university I failed both the atmosphere, weather and climate modules but have gone on to work in air quality. I do think having a good rapport with your teacher helps.
